The new Pure Galleries exhibition format gives the imm Spring Edition of the imm cologne in June 2023 an extraordinarily lively new design. Inspired by the art gallery aesthetic, imm cologne directors Dick Spierenburg and Bernd Sanden describe the concept as a kind of game changer that Pure exhibitors have come to expect from the special edition of the interior business event in Cologne.

The Pure Galleries format combines comfort with an event feeling
Inspired by the visual aesthetics of art galleries and art fairs like ART COLOGNE, the concept for Pure Galleries is based on a high-end showcase of minimalist, customizable brand spaces.

“Impressive, experience-oriented, plannable, simple, compact and inexpensive,” is how the new imm cologne Director and long-standing Creative Director Dick Spierenburg sums up the new Pure Galleries exhibition format in less than ten words. “Pure Galleries is a compact, creative concept that fits perfectly with interior design brands that place high demands on their brand identity. It offers them a very modern stage to present their latest products to the market in a way that suits their target groups. The perfect price-performance ratio makes participation in the Spring Edition 2023 of imm cologne a win-win situation.”

The name of the new format says it all: Based on the generous exhibition formats in the art sector, the rooms of the Pure Galleries will capture the atmosphere of an art gallery. Around 75 stands in different sizes, shapes and configurations offer well-known brand manufacturers from the furnishing industry a home in Hall 11.2 and act as a further magnet for visitors to the Spring Edition. A meeting place will be created in the middle of the hall with the Speakers’ Corner – a forum for the exchange of new releases, new residential developments and industry news. A café, which is open to all Pure Galleries exhibitors, rounds off the format’s offerings. Trade visitors to the imm Spring Edition benefit from a spacious exhibition architecture with an impressive ambience. Pure Galleries is a new format to discover inspirational themes in interior design, new color palettes, furniture, lighting, textiles, wallpaper and accessories.

Planned exhibition architecture with a unique trade fair design
Exhibitors can choose from four stand sizes between 25 and 72 square meters. The rectangular rooms are 3 meters high and equipped with spotlights. The walls can be designed in five trendy colors. The continuous floor covering is part of the hall architecture and an essential design element for the gallery character. Walls that appear to be floating, suspended grid ceilings and partitions give creative freedom to stage the inspiring brand worlds of the exhibitors.

“We have listened to our exhibitors and added a new format, Pure Galleries, which is a solution to the current challenges and offers exhibitors a calculable way to participate in the Spring Edition. With the launch of Pure Galleries, there are hardly any excuses not to take part in the imm Spring Edition 2023,” says Director Bernd Sanden.

Pure exhibitors enthusiastic about the new gallery concept for the Spring Edition
“We received a very good response to the gallery concept from our Pure exhibitors,” says Dick Spierenburg. “When we presented the concept to selected exhibitors, the feedback showed us that we’re on the right track.” “I’m confident that we’ll be able to announce the first exciting names in the coming weeks,” adds Bernd Sanden. The imm Spring Edition will take place from June 4th to 7th, 2023 in the exhibition halls of the Koelnmesse in Cologne.
