Charlotte De Berry Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament

Ye Royal Krewe by Charlotte de Berry is an all-female Kru from the South Shore area. Krewe Life focuses on building community engagement by participating in parades and donating time, talent and fundraising to local charities. All proceeds from the golf tournament will benefit local high school students who plan to pursue careers and technology through community college or programs.

The golf tournament will be held on Saturday February 18th from 10:30am to 6:00pm at Summerfield Crossings Golf Club. Competitions include next pin, longest drive, putting and target hole. For registration and information send an email to lisabusenbark0@gmail.com.

Each entrant will receive two free Allie Serrano Portraits professional photographs for a donation of between $20 and $50 and will automatically be entered into the contest to win an 11″ x 14″ enlargement.

Busch Gardens opens Springs Taproom

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay recently opened Springs Taproom, a new casual and relaxed lounge serving guests a selection of classic cocktails, frozen beverages, small bites and more. The new venue, located in the park’s Bird Garden area, features a serene pond and lush landscaping, providing guests with a relaxing environment to sit, drink and unwind.

The Springs Taproom replaces the Garden Gate Cafe, an evolution of the iconic Hospitality House. The new venue offers a mix of modern decoration and classic photos and takes guests on a journey into the past.

Tampa’s premier lacrosse club team is looking for players

Registration for Tampa’s first-ever club lacrosse team, which will run during the FHSAA high school regular season, is now open. It is open to all boys in grades 9 through 12 who want to try or play lacrosse but don’t have a team at school. No experience is required; Experienced coaches and experienced players will show you how to play. The team is organized by a 501(c)(3) club that believes everyone should have a chance to play regardless of their school choice.
